Dr Carolyn Nizolek

Carolyn completed her medical training at the University of Tasmania in 2013. Following this she spent a number of years working at the Royal Hobart Hospital gaining experience in a broad range of areas. Carolyn obtained her GP Fellowship in 2020 after working in various GP clinics in Melbourne as well as Family Planning Victoria.

Carolyn has a special interest in all aspects of women’s health including contraception and family planning as well as sexual health. Carolyn also works at Marie Stopes which has provided her with significant experience in these areas. Carolyn is qualified to insert and remove IUD devices (Mirena and Copper IUD) as well as Implanons and can also provide medical termination of pregnancy.

Outside of medicine, Carolyn enjoys spending time at the park with her 2 dogs and has a love of interior design and baking.

Carolyn works at Richmond Medical on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and every alternating Saturday.
