Georgina is a specialist GP with broad experience across all areas of general practice. She has a particular interest in menopause medicine and women’s health more generally, and supports patients through all stages of their reproductive journey —from menstrual concerns, contraception, and unplanned pregnancy to preconception, antenatal and postnatal care, as well as perimenopause and midlife health.

She takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach, and works closely with her patients to understand their individual needs, helping them navigate current concerns while supporting their long-term health and wellbeing through life’s transitions.

Georgina graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010 and gained extensive experience as a junior doctor in regional and remote areas of South Australia and the Northern Territory, as well as in major Adelaide hospitals, before settling in Melbourne.

She holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Women’s Hospital and was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2016. This enabled her to travel to the UK, USA and Europe to explore primary healthcare models for women experiencing homelessness. She is has a keen interest in public and preventative health and has completed a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, along with further postgraduate training in sexual and reproductive health and menopause medicine. Georgina is an accredited Shared Care practitioner affiliated with the Royal Women’s Hospital, Monash Health, Mercy Hospital for Women and Box Hill Hospital.

As a member of the Australian Menopause Society and the International Menopause Society, Georgie stays up to date with the latest evidence in menopause care, including both hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options, and enjoys translating this knowledge into practical care for her patients. She offers dedicated consultations through the Richmond Medical Menopause and Midlife Clinic, where longer appointments allow for thorough, individualized care.

To maintain availability for existing patients, Georgina is currently not accepting new patients, except for limited appointments in preconception and pregnancy care, and at the Richmond Medical Menopause and Midlife Clinic. Read more about the Richmond Medical Menopause and Midlife Clinic here:
