Dr Georgina Whiting

Georgina is a caring and compassionate GP who enjoys working with the entire family across the breadth of general practice. She graduated from Adelaide University in 2010, and worked in various regional and remote locations in South Australia and the Northern Territory before settling in Melbourne.
She obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology while working at the Royal Women’s Hospital, and was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2016, which allowed her to travel overseas to investigate primary healthcare models for women experiencing homelessness. She has recently completed a Masters in public health and tropical medicine.
Georgina is an accredited shared care practitioner affiliated with the Royal Women’s Hospital, Monash Health, Mercy Hospital for Women and Box Hill Hospital. She is happy to assist with all aspects of reproductive health, from contraception and family planning, through to antenatal and postnatal care. She loves looking after babies and children too.
With a passion for travel Georgina also has an interest in travel medicine, and can be found exploring the great outdoors with her young family when not at work.
