Dr Alyisha Tan

Dr Alyisha Tan completed her medical degree through The University of Melbourne, where she also obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science degree. Prior to embarking on a career in General Practice, she has worked as a registrar in a wide range of specialities in the hospital system, including Liver Transplant Unit and Victorian Spinal Cord Service at Austin Hospital, and Intensive Care Unit in Canberra.
She has special interests in Sexual health and Trans health. She has worked with Thorne Harbour Health (previously Victorian Aids Council), and is an accredited S100 prescriber for both HIV medicine and Hepatitis B medicine. Her other interests include women’s health, preventative health and mental health. She is qualified to insert Implanons.
Outside of medicine, Alyisha enjoys reading, hiking and travelling. She is also a registrar liaison officer for Eastern Victorian GP Training, where she actively advocates for General Practice trainees.
