Dr Emily Nixon

Dr Emily Nixon completed her postgraduate medical degree at Monash University in 2015, and has worked at Eastern Health in Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics, among other disciplines.

Emily enjoys all aspects of General Practice, and has a friendly, caring and thorough approach. She has a particular interest in women’s health, having successfully completed the Certificate of Women’s Health through RANZCOG. She is qualified to insert Implanon and provide medical termination. Currently Emily is not registered to provided GP Shared Care for pregnancy, but can help with all aspects of early pregnancy care. She is also interested and skilled in children’s health, skin cancer checks and procedures, alcohol and other drug medicine.

Outside work, Emily enjoys travel, socialising with friends and family, and keeping fit with yoga and indoor cycle.
